ClearVision's founder, Fred Friedfeld, was an entrepreneur who built relationships across the world through the strength of his character, deep-rooted values, and sincere caring about making the world a better place for others.

Upon Fred's passing in 2014, the Friedfeld family established a foundation at the SUNY School of Optometry in New York City. Their goal, to continue in the spirit of Fred’s generous nature and to ensure a positive future for eyecare professionals.

Over the past four years, the foundation has received over $60,000 in donations and has awarded a scholarship to four recipients. This is just a small stride in funding the education of future optical professionals, who’s average graduating debt is around $134,000.
