Liz Friedfeld has been named the recipient of the Pyxis Award, one of several honors presented as part of the Optical Women’s Association (OWA) annual Star Awards. 

The Pyxis Award is presented to an OWA member who actively participates in the organization and consistently promotes its mission throughout the optical industry. The award recognizes individuals who help guide the direction of the OWA through their actions and leadership, while inspiring others through their commitment to service and growth.

Liz Friedfeld was selected for her longstanding involvement with the OWA and her dedication to building meaningful relationships across the industry. In her role at ClearVision Optical, Liz serves as a connector and advocate — supporting independent eyecare professionals, fostering collaboration, and helping strengthen partnerships that move the industry forward. Her leadership reflects the spirit of the Pyxis Award and the values at the heart of the OWA.
