Helping LI Children Who Live in “At-Risk” Environments
On January 9th, ClearVision held a WinterVision Wonderland Cocktail party and Silent Auction event to benefit the Newsday Charities Help-A-Family campaign. Guests were members of local and trade press, business contacts, friendly competitors and customers. By the end of the |
| party, over $4,600 was raised for this worthy charity! Every dollar raised by this auction will receive a $.50 match by the McCormick Tribune Foundation. Newsday and the Foundation cover all campaign and administrative costs so that 100% of the money raised, plus the match will be granted out to non-profit agencies on Long Island that provide services for children in need. Newsday Charities provides grants to local non-profit agencies that care for children and youth who live in “at risk” environments on Long Island.
