Oversee and direct all aspects relating to the product development and merchandising of specific brands. Ensure products are consistent with overall brand strategy and brand image. Create original concepts that encompass style, color and features, in relationship to the brand. Ensure that purchased products meet margin objectives, sales goals and launch dates. Responsible for the negotiation of pricing with suppliers and the development of those relationships. Oversee the successful execution of the brands through interaction with sales, marketing, inventory management and key accounts.
